Walk through the Cabin

in the forest, by a lake.

Total tranquility. Rest. Rewind. The cabin is located by McDougal lake, 100 meters from the water. Only four cabins share access to the inlet. You won't see your neighbours. And they won't see you. Leave your boat right at the lake. Your own private path takes you down to the water.

It's cosy.

The cabin has one bedroom and provides a wonderful sleeping space. The bedroom is equipped to also sleep eight in total (when you have visitors) Sleek bunk beds give you the opportunity to have company - if you want.

blueberries. thousands.

In summer you'll be able to pick your fruit right in the forrest. You'll be able to eat your own fish, pick blueberries and have barbecues at the open fire. You are surrounded by edible plants.

this kitchen.

This kitchen is well equipped for cabin life. Gas stove, wood stove, pans and pots, card games, fairy lights, an arm chair, a pump that provides water from a nearby creek. Away from everything.

the sun room.

So much room for creativity and cuddling! The sun room is another amazing feature of this cabin! It gives you the exact right level of indoor/outdoor feel. Lots of light, lots of air, and still a lot of protection from direct sun light and wind. This is where you might spend most of your time.

the heart of the cabin.

The kitchen table is a wonderful center peace in the open plan kitchen. Your view: Trees, trees, trees. And sunny rocks. Serve your favourite foods at the cosy cabin kitchen, play card games, read or be creative.

a brandnew deck.

This beautiful sunny deck makes for some lovely sunbathing, chilling and dining. It has just been built a year ago and won't cause you any trouble. Some wood from the built is still on site. A priceless extra in the age of expensive lumber.

cosy, cosy, cosy.

A compact fireplace on bright red brick gives the place some extra comfy warmth. Snuggle up, put your feet up and look at the stars. Evenings are the best!

mc dougall lake inlet.

Look at this lake! Skinny dipping, kayaking, swimming. Right in front of your new cabin. You literally could just roll down the short hill path that connects the cabin and the water. Even though there are a few trees between the cabin and the lake, this is a waterfront listing. McDougall Lake is 438.5 ha (4.4 sqkm).

new brunswick.

New Brunswick is Canada's hidden gem! Ocean, forests, lakes, Indian summer. Despite having so much to offer, New Brunswick is much less busy than Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. The cabin is located between St. Geoorge and Fredericton, in Charlotte County. About an hour from cities and airports.

gorgeous nature.

Around the cabin you'll find trees of different kinds, fruits and flowers. McDougal lake is only one of several lakes nearby. The area is called Utopia. And it has that name for a reason.

Make your own fertile soil with the help of the cabin's outhouse. The ultimate glamping washroom experience comes with a bag of sawdust for everlasting, fresh cedar smell.

glamping toilet.

There is a toilet indoors too? Yes! It's a glamping toilet! You don't have to walk far at all, if the human urges tickle you at night.

The land

The cabin is located on 500 sqm of forest land. The land belongs to Queen Elisabeth II. But don't worry, she lets you lease it for 800 CAD per year and you get to live and work on the land, as well as use the resources it provides.

McDougall Lake Inlet is right in front of you. More than 50 other lakes are very close by!

Hunting and fishing are permitted once you gain the appropriate licenses.
